Intermediate Soapmakers
This is a 3-hour, hands-on workshop designed for intermediates who want to learn the ancient, sweet-smelling art of cold and hot process soapmaking using nothing more than oils, lye, and water in a simple, fun-filled process that you can recreate at home to make your own unique soap creations!
What You’ll Learn
By the end of the day, you’ll be a soapmaker. Here’s what we’ll cover:
- Soapmaking 101: What’s in it, how to make it, and why it’s so freakin’ cool.
- Safety First!: I’m a former safety manager. You’re in good hands.
- Different Techniques: Hot process, cold process, melt-and-pour… we’re doing it all.
- Get Creative: We’ll play with colors, scents, and ingredients so your soap is 100% you.
What’s Included
For safety and skin protection wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt to class along with socks and shoes. Bring your creativity and imagination! We’ll provide all the soapmaking materials and ingredients you’ll need.
