Making soap was like rediscovering a long-lost friend. #Motherhood is a transformative experience, and amidst that whirlwind, soapmaking anchored me back to a sense of ‘me’. It felt like coming home. 🧼
I tell people all the time that one of the joys of soapmaking is simply crafting something useful with your own hands. I love being reminded that everyday objects are waiting to be transformed into powerful new things. My soap bar is a tribute to St. Florian the patron saint of soapmakers, brewers, and firefighters, whose feast day falls on May 4th.
