Being a mentor with #SGSF has changed my outlook on the power of storytelling.
There’s nothing like sitting across from an ambitious high school student. I learned that in sharing my college/career “lessons-learned”, I get to be a tiny part in helping her reach her big career goals in fewer steps. It seems so ordinary but conversation truly moves mountains.
Maddie, my mentee, is a powerhouse high school senior with aspirations to work in #cybersecurity. Along the way? She’s developing an app to help her classmates with literacy. 🚀
