To all my fellow #womeninstem and #womenintech who are interested in sharing what you’ve learned to the next generation of women in our field, I invite you to join us on Friday, September 27, 2024, for our 2024-25 Induction Ceremony at the Ion Houston at 5:30pm.
Representation matters! We know this intrinsically but it really comes alive when you’re standing in your full power in front of a kid who begins to imagine themselves soaring in a STEM career because they can see a bit of their future in us.
Although the number of women enrolled in college remains above 58%, there are still gaps in women in STEM college degrees. The good news is women are increasing in STEM degree plans such as engineering, health sciences and technology. There is much room to grow for Blacks & Hispanic women, in these degrees and others within STEM.
