Today I spent a sunny morning at NRG Center’s first Business Connect event for hospitality.
After leading my first soapmaking event at NRG last week (more on this soon!), I was excited to be back at the stadium learning more about doing business with Houston institutions.
One highlight of the conversation was powerful: diverse small businesses matter, even at the largest event venues in the world like NRG. Why? Because we bring local impact. Because a certain class of business cares deeply about sustaining their surrounding community.
Events like these help fuel the machine that outputs Texans football games, the rodeo, and world-class concerts. And yes, even storytelling soapmaking workshops belong in this picture. 🙂
