Soap: Black Amber Silk
Video: Coming soon

Saint Florian is the patron saint of soapmakers, chimney sweeps, and other professions who deal in fire and water.
It was only fitting that I begin my year-long weekly soapmaking journey on his feast day, May 4.
However, I’m also a busy mom. I missed the actual fest day. 😅
It’s May 6th and I filmed myself making soap today.
Red and blue colors swirled in the pot of my hot processed soap batter. It turned purple-ish in certain spots and looked like the evening sky.
I felt so free.
I felt the grace of God wash over me.
Here I was in my element.
Humbley making bougey soap.
Freedom through soapmaking. Who knew?
