We were deep in the middle of blending essential oils during a private soapmaking session when this simple but powerful moment unfolded.
At first, Soofia wasn’t sure which scent she liked best. Then she noticed how her perception shifted the longer she engaged. The frankincense she originally thought was too strong? Now she couldn’t get enough.
“It’s funny how your nose keeps changing the more you work with oils.”
The same is true in leadership. The more time you spend tuning into what’s beneath the surface, the more your instincts evolve.
Sometimes the scent you overlook at first becomes the one you need most.
